Could anyone give pointers on building workouts?

I wanna weave swimming into my bodyweight fitness and weight lifting because I want some cardio but hate running and love swimming. I just have trouble figuring a good base for building workouts. Like warmup, workout, cool down. I also know I don’t just wanna do distance, I wanna alternate between distance and sprints. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
