Losing control of my body inside the swimming pool... Any idea about it!!!!

Hello everyone, I'm 24 and it's my first time to learn swimming, I took my 2nd class few hours ago (1 hour session) and it went smoothly until I reach the half time... Suddenly I lost control of my body.. Full body stiffness.. and muscles all over my body went crazy ( contracting & shivering) especially the jaw part.. the coach tried to calm me down and asked me to relief the tension so I can float well.. It worsened in few minutes that I hurt my mouth with my teeth clenching.. what is annoying me that every one is telling me that I'm afraid of water and asking me not to.. Deep inside I know that I'm not cause people.. it started after half an hour without having any trouble before that .. I'm feeling down cause it's my second time.. I had the same scenario in my first class .. And it's interrupting my training in a hard way.. ( I have vit. D insufficiency and it was the reason for a long time years of tiredness & muscle fatigue specifically through my college years).. I can't tell if it's a fear - based reaction or a fatigued body that can't do more than 30 minutes working inside the pool.. P. S ( I don't have a history of taking any kind of sport training.. Swimming is my first time.. I don't have an athletic body or even a few strong muscles ).. I'm typing this long ( boring) message with a full hard fatigue all over my body.. I feel stuck between this bad experience and my excitement to keep on with this beautiful thing called " swimming"... Have a great day swimmers 🏊‍♀️
