I have recently learned swimming and I do freestyle mostly. The thing is, it is really hard for me breath after a certain point. I do side breathing and I breathe out inside the water. However, I can only do so like 20-30 meters max. Would it only improve with practice or would it have to do with my form? I tend to take breath really fast when I’m in contact with the surface.
I swim alone so I cannot get feedback on my form and technique, it’s just my own feedback. I want to swim open water someday and I think I’m nowhere near to do that.
