So let start off by saying I used to swim like a lot my high school is known for having multiple Olympic swimmer and waterpolo players in fact our water polo is one of if not the best in the US. Anyway I used to swim a 57 second free when I was 12 and the rest of my strokes were around that level back then tho I won a lot of trophies and awards for meets and I was around 5,2 120-130 I was chunky but good. Anyway now I’m 16M 6,1 155lb and pretty lean and have a decent amount of muscle in my back especially and my whole body from working out in the gym for about a year. The question is if I start training can I catch up to my previous time and surpass it hopefully getting to sub 50 second 100m free by end of my senior year I’m a junior currently just starting?
