I am begineer swimmer and I usually only have access to a public pool where there is about 125 cm of water on one side and about 160 cm of water on the other side. I usually use breastroke or sidestroke with head above water (I have to learn swimming with head above water). Swimming on the deeper side isn't a problem for me. However, when I get to the shallower side, then it just feels as I am moving very slowly or not moving at all. What can I do to solve this? I am already swimming with legs and torso as near to the surface as possible.
