Hi all,
I'm new to swimming and learning front crawl. I can do about 1.5k in 40 m, which at that pace I go for a while, but my friend told me that my technique is off. He says that when I place my hand forward into the water, I'm meant to hold it there until my backhand reaches out in front as well.
I tried this method and I feel much more tired, especially from holding my hand forward my front delt is sore. Any ideas why this technique is the proper form, or am I doing it wrong perhaps and becoming tired as a result?
